I just read the only thread I could find here on these packs.  Nylon was the issue.  I'm looking to do some of these and would like a product that will accept regular Easyweed - though I don't mind buying the Easyweed "EXTRA" type, if needed.  My concern is the narrow margin between application temperature and the melting point of the nylon.

So, two questions:
1: where can I get a different material for a drawstring pack? (I have been searching)
2: What have your experiences been with applying to the nylon bags?

Just a quick and likely not helpful post - American Radiology just gave out drawstring packs here at work made from NFL-jersey like material made to look like Ravens jerseys. I have it here somewhere in my office when I have some time I'll see if I can find a tag on it and see where it came from.

Thermoflex Extra is supposed to work with nylon. I have 2 nylon jackets I am doing 2moro I will report back with my results

I had not considered THERMOFLEX before - Thanks!  However, upon looking at the specs for Thermoflex Extra (designed to apply to nylon) its temperature is 310-315f.  That is hotter than Easyweed at 302f.  So I will probably try the Easyweed or the Easyweed Extra which is said, by Siser, to adhere to nylon.

Thanks for all of the ideas - more are welcome!  It's interesting how quickly one gets entrenched in his narrow path of supplies and forgets to look at other options.

Thanks, Bluegrass!  So...  IS it possibly that the reason Jiffy shirts says their bags are not recommended for heat press is because the typical transfer material does not adhere? I had bought a cover for my Mustang and was going to put stuff on it.  I tried to apply to the bag first and it http://MELTED! 

I will get some bags from Jiffy and the Easyweed Extra.  Posts Later. 

Ours come from Sanmar and we do use thermoflex on them without any problems.
