You need to just pick up printable vinyl and either a laminate or frogjuice. I am told the frogjuice works pretty good. Just spray it on and it seals it. You can also put a mist on the car to further seal it if needed.

Printable vinyls I am still looking into. There is a common brand here used by a lot of people. I am going to see if Avery makes one just because I have a local distributor here I can pick it up from and save the shipping.

Unless there is a straight bumper sticker material.. this is what I have heard of people doing.

+ 1: Like Mcstewey said, for me I use the Papilio 11x17 in my wf1100 and just cut out after.   ...Of course, now I can contour cut them out with the new Graphtec...    :afro:

The only way they would be waterproof is if they put something over the top. Otherwise it's not fully waterproof. They may have included some frogjuice or some form of sealant.

In fact Papilio paper tells you to run it under water after you print it...

I use the sheets also might be a little more but I don't do that much so I just go in the box and take out a sheet when needed...

Yep, the papilio is completely waterproof.

I prefer Sihl 3988, that's probably the one MrMcStewey was referring to. It's great.

I laminate after printing with Oraguard 210. Making bumper stickers would be easy unless you wanted something like rounded corners. That could still be done by hand in small quantities, but I'd contour cut them.
Cutter: Graphtec CE5000-40, Cut3000 (GCC Bengal)
Software: Corel Draw X5, RoboMaster Pro, Photoshop CS3, GreatCut
Heat Press: Stahl's 15x15 MAXX

I've had printed last 2 years on the back window of a car with no lamination.

Just out of curiosity.. do you live in a good climate area? I live in Washington state... it rains constantly.

+1 for the sihl 3988, i us it all the time its one of my main substraits, i sell bumperstickers for 6 bucks and an extra buck if they want it laminated this is one up and i sell about 10-20 a week, the great thing is most of them are from scrap ends. i use a wf1100 with pigment ink, i tell the customer un laminated lasts 6 mo. with lam 2 year, i am allover the country and my displays are lasting what i say they do. i have a couple of displays at any time that are at 7 mo. and starting to look raged so i can show customers , it helps sell the extra buck for lam. and the lam is scrap also.
