Anyone use it or even heard of it? Place down the road from me has started to carry it, there are only 2 grades, 4000 Cal with a 4 year durability & 6000 Cal with 6 year durability. Apparently its cheap & they sell it by the yard.

I've heard of some LG vinyl but not that exact one. Maybe get a yard or 2 and see how it cuts then put it on your car and blast it good with a high pressure hose to see how it stands up

Hey Ben .
I have used it for sandblast resist and shirt bleaching but not for signs yet . It is thinner than Orcal and it seems to be stretchy an room temps ( I'd think it would take a curve well) . I would rate it better than Greenstar to work with . I'm getting a roll of the new Rite-Media matte black on Wednesday ( Just to see what that stuff is like to work with ) . I will say that the LG is tough ...I have sand blasted it at a 100 psi with Olivine, Chromite and 220 Oxide . It took it like a champ . The 3 stage Harley table top I just blasted was with LG as a mask .
I don't know which I have ..bought it on Ebay in a batch order ..it says HI-CAL on the back , no numbers .

Signwarehouse has a promotion for LG Vizuon 4000. They are selling it for $1 plus shipping for 24" x 10 yards. I don't know how it differs from the Hausys. I wouldn't buy another roll of Vizuon, even for a buck.

I figured it might be kinda lousy for what they want for it, so we should rate it somewhere above BGS or Greenstar but well below FDC or Oracal? Like Brooks said, you get what you pay for eh?
Marek lemme know how that Rite stuff works, there's an All Graphics Supply just up the street from me.

Hey Ben , I did 1/2 an order with matte black LG Hausys last night and today I got my Rite-Media Matte black so I'm finishing up . The Rite-Media wins hands down in my book . It cuts cleaner and weeds 100x easier . I even like the finish on it more . go to AGS and buy a 10 yd . roll for $20 and give it a shot .

Have a roll of LG Hausys HiCal and only use stuff with a minimum of detail and no small features. I have to up the pressure compared to Oracal and it's a pain to weed. It has like zero hold to the backing.

Funny you mention that cuz I was cutting & weeding some .75" lettering tonight on an old roll of FDC (probably a year old) & it was doing the exact same thing, every letter pulled away from the backing paper, was a total pain to weed. NEVER happens on oracal stuff.
