actually measured out the Cav, and could probably do it for under 200 bucks.  Unless I figured wrong?  (Then, I saw the diamond plate stuff on the website - but has anybody ever worked with that crap - ? It SUCKS)

I still say that is one sweet job on that car man!  You really did one hell of a good job!!!

expensive vinyl but nowhere near as expensive as 3m dinoc, might have to try some

ive stopped doing these, i was having adhesion issues evem with the 3m primer... had a couple complaints so ive stopped doing it... wasnt worth the headache

That sucks . But I understand the adhesion issues . Let's face it , anyone who loves their car uses some kind of protectant on the dash ie. Armorall or Meguires all of most of these use either some Teflon or silicone additive that doesn't like to be stuck to . Even with thorough cleaning it is hard to full remove all of this residue especially on inside corners .

I would love to sample some of that stuff if anyone has a decent size piece laying around i can buy off of ya let me know 100 bucks is just to rich for my blood with out it being for a job.

How do you make it conform that well to the complex surfaces with two directions of curvature?
