Heard acetone is the same as nail polish remover?

Just a thought - but since CRD said he used Methylene Chloride to clean PVC pipe, maybe try a can of regular PVC pipe cleaner (yellow can) that any hardware store or building supply should have.  See if it is the same stuff.  Besides, it comes with a twist off lid and applicator swab already attached to it.

I use this and it works well.
just spray it on, leave for a couple of minutes, then just pick of vinyl.
Adhesive residue seems to wash out with first couple of washes.

Does it work if it has been on there longer then the 48 hours for recommended time to use?

Thanks,
Christi

I got some and it took off vinyl that was on a shirt for 6 months.  Granted the shirt was never worn or washed, but I don't see that making a difference.

Thanks. I just had someone ask me if there was anything that took it off. I might have to get some and try it out since it is for family it wouldn't hurt if it ruined it haha.
