quik set heat press
« on: December 13, 2011, 02:27:10 PM »
I found an awesome deal on Craigslist. $150 for a quik set 15x15 swing ARM heat press. Along with a 6x3 hat press. Does ANYONE have experience with a quik set. I looked at it today n it got hot as hell. It's old. Prolly as old as me. I'm 27 haha. Maybe not that old bit its Def not from circa 2000 haha. The only prob the dude said was a fuse went. He just shut down his embroidery biz. Its not digital or anything. All knobs n it has an egg timer like timer with it. I can't find any info on Google.

Any information is appreciated!

For $150 I would say that would be a good deal. Those older ones are usually work horses. With it being non-digital that should keep the break downs low.

the only real issue you have is uneven heating across the platen. that seems to be a problem with older heat presses.
