Bought a hat press
« on: November 28, 2011, 02:26:48 PM »

Bill...
See what an idle mind can get you into~~~

Hats are on again/off again here.  For samples or low quantities,
I have found nice hats at the big box stores and $2 deals at
Gabriel Bros (a mid-Atlantic deep discount chain). Even the
Dollar Stores have cheap cotton hats.

The biggest problem I've had with the hats is getting the fronts
to lay flat for pressing.  I have an older Hotronics Hat Press and
maybe heads/hats have changed over the years!

You can press over the front seam or get hats with one flat
panel in front...both work but the single panel seems to lay
flat better and have more room for imprint.

Have fun...I know you will come up with some great designs!
