I like it a lot.
Vary memorable, Simple and to the point.
My only suggestion is the word vinyl is a bit hard to read.

Truckntran makes a great point. Do you ever intend to branch out? If so I would even reconsider grafx.Vern's Grafx n Design, Vern's Grafx and Sign, Vern's Art and Sign, Vern's Kerns lol little typography joke there.

The logo is easy to read, has a great visual impact and will stick in peoples' heads. Just don't limit yourself and what you offer by your name.

I like it, and I agree with removing the word "vinyl". I've had people tell me they thought it meant banners when I had it on my business card.

there we go vern so great advice coming from the family....lol . i think it looks great except for the vinyl which has been pointed out. its bold, eye catching but not that over the top . it suits

please repost the different logo designs that you come up with as i very keen to see more of your work.

@openco - i do like your advice. personally my opinion, i think Vern is more important. its my name. i dont want people to remember me for vinyl. an example being someone got something from me whether it be a banner or decal or whatever. another person asks them who did that or where they got it from. i dont want them to struggle with remembering it was Vern who did it.

@booper - well if i drink beer it wouldnt look jittery. it'd be all over the place haha   

@truckntran - i dont plan on branching out. the only other thing i would consider is tshirts and glass etching which i already do a little of. i just do this as a hobby. personally i hate screen printing. i used to do it at a job i had. id get high everyday from the chemicals. that was the only good thing haha. the sweet smell of xylol in the morning.

@foghorn - Verns Kerns is kind of catchy haha for some reason i want to rename it to Vernel's Kernels haha

its a work in progress/diamond in the rough. im gonna take some advice and possibly redo it. i like to keep things short sweet and simple.

anyway some of you may know me as Bill and are wondering why i call my business Vern's Vinyl Grafx. My middle name is Lovern. as soon as my friends found this out it was all over for me and ever since they have been calling me vern. i used to hate the  middle name but now i really dont care haha. sounds alot better than Bill's Vinyl Grafx. another reason why I want to keep vinyl in the mix. it runs right next to Vern.
