I am sure they can center it. But I think because it is a pre formatted template the size of the header is fixed.

It can be centered, and I can edit the template for the image to be bigger, however, I don't like scrolling (esp. since the page is as long as it is), so I don't plan on making it much bigger. lol I'll work on centering and/or something to the right.  I wouldn't mind having some banner ads of sponsors to cover costs or contest sponsors to cycle through up there.

The way they have been donating prizes I would think if it was a reasonable fee they would pay to have a small banner for their business there.  Maybe you should make a post if anyone is interested??  I pay a monthly fee on some of my forums and don't mind as I sell a shirt or decal once i a while pays for the banner... Just a thought

Less is more, always true.

Maybe take the reflection line out of the vinylforum.org though, its annoying, even though I know what it is supposed to look like.

Maybe we just need to add a donate button for the members to donate some when they feel they can.  We make a big sale then put a little in for Brent to keep the site going?  Whatchya think.  that way we remain sponsor free, they can add in also if they feel like it but we really don't have any ties.  right now we show the sponsors names on the contest and much more we usually have the contest run by companies that we are very comfortable around or have a product we are familiar with and we continue to spread the word about those companied because we want to, and we have no obligation to ,as it would be if they controlled if we would be around or not
Just my 2 c.  I would rather we help Brent when needed and thru a donation rather than get official corporate sponsors

I am tired and may reread this in the morning and say HUH?

Guys & Gals:

I've added a Donation button to the top menu, it just uses paypal.  This is by no means a solicitation and if the balance sat at $0.00 forever, thats fine too. Wink It's just there if you feel like you want to contribute to the operating costs of the forum. No max or min. amounts, and it doesn't affect membership in any way. Wink

Thanks!

Brent

Lots better Brent!  I really don't think we want a paying long term sponsor if we want to keep the forum "free speech" oriented
