I think the concept of this is no different than that of the vector's offered thread. I see vectors being shared in a focused topic area. An elitist club? No, a contributors club that people who have no intent on helping, yes. No different than the vector sharing issue.

If you want to skim, you don't have to participate, in sharing, or taking for that matter, but don't be offended. It's nothing to do with being an elitist.

However, I would hope it would encourage you to be a contributor to this community. A perk for participating and being someone who invests in others here.

Just to clarify, contributing can be ideas even if you aren't a great designer. Or, a thumbs up, great idea comment, or have you considered idea X Y & Z to make it a little more versatile!

Many forums have areas that the more you post and contribute, the more that you get to be involved with.

I don't see this as a bad thing, but think a fair number is fair.

Heck.. a few more posts and you are almost there. Tell people they did a great job in the show your work section and you will already be there. Is that too much to ask?
