I thank whenever appropriate however, it's not always a practice in all cultures so I'm very much okay if I don't get one. I guess you get used to it after dealing with so many people from all over living in California.

It's how I was raised. If people don't say thanks I'm likely to think twice before I help again. Its true that when I help I wasnt asked, but.... That's just how I am. It goes a long way and it doesn't cost a dime.

Be nice if there was a THANKS button like on Tshirtforums.com. When you find a 3 page thread and 98% of it is thumbs up or thanks it gets aggravating  and after going through several threads like that it gets infuriating.

A thanks and/or a thumbs up button would be a nice addition.

"What if" we were to have the above mentioned "like" button, but that button would not count as a post.  Posts should be interactive.  The "likes" could just be a category (look at your own stats on your profile page).  I'm sitting on 1400+, but I'm sure they are not all questions or answers or affirmations - there are tons of 's  Just a thought.

Excellent idea... Thanks or  should not be counted as a post.
The posts would not go on for pages of nothing but
that gets dull.
