taking pics of a mirror....updated with paint
« on: September 03, 2010, 07:23:10 PM »
SUCKS! i asked for a 52 ford about a week ago in .eps format. you guys never cease to amaze me with the power of helping someone out that truly needs it. that being said, i made this mirror today for my father in law. the last thing will be when i paint the "half-breed" with a maroon later tonight. couldn't wait to get these pics up. etching is almost as much fun as cuttin decals..... 049.gif

Mirrors can be a problem, that's for sure because you have to figure for the reflection. However I think you nailed it pretty good.

got it painted. gonna give it to him on sunday when we go over there for a BBQ. still needs to be cleaned up from the fingerprints and the overspray around the edge, but that's the easy part.

Very Nice. Did you paint that with one shot? If not what did you use?
