Bill you'll definitely live a lot longer with the cabinet. I stopped blasting until I get it right, even with a respirator I still can taste the stuff.

The only time I see dust when I'm blasting is when I don't latch the lid down. The main problem I first had with the cabinet was seeing through the window even with the light on. Then, one day I decided to clean the dust off the top and noticed I little spot in one corner and scraped it. It was the clear film they cover it with from the factory! Sometimes, my ignorance amazes even me!!!!  ;D

Even with a good vacuum I still wear the respirator;

I have the Harbor Fright cabinet that sits on the floor and have not had any problems with the dust. I do have a vacuum hooked up to it but it also has an extra port to let air in so that the air is replaced that the vacuum it taking out. You need to also make sure that you have a big enough vacuum hooked up to it.
