could somebody please explain blade offset and overcut? I though I understood, but now I'm second guessing myself.

Overcut is when your cutting software tells the cutter to go past the starting point of a path just a hair which will in theory make it easier to weed

and it uses the blade offset setting to calculate the necassary amount of overcut needed.
