corel draw and ai files
« on: September 02, 2011, 12:06:16 AM »
a guy sent me an ai file and in corel draw the only thing i could see was a black page. i emailed him and he resent a cdr file. i could see it now but to cut, i had to select the logo and drag it off the black. when i sent it to the cutter it cut thurgh everthing  even though in corel it looked like a shillouette. any advice?

In CorelDRAW Convert to Curves and then export it as an EPS file.

You may want to view the image in wireframe mode. In that mode you'll see all your cutting lines. Sounds like there may be a layer your not seeing.

Right click on the image and have a look if there is a mask, if so unmask it.
