Cutter Support / How to setup Creation PCUT CT630H on windows 10?
« Last post by Mojouk on February 22, 2018, 12:00:27 PM »
I've had this plotter for about 6 months and I've had nothing but trouble with it, I've set it up as per the instructions here
http://startup.ukcutter.co.uk/English/FTDI/index.html and the company I bought it from are being of no further use at all.

Basically the thing miss cuts everything it decided to miss align text and graphics and cuts where it's not supposed to, it's utterly useless to me at the moment. It also randomly stops cutting mid job sometimes.

Does anyone know the correct way to set one of these up without issues?

I'm running windows 10, using the original USB cable connected to a USB 2 port, software is Flexi Starter.

Thanks

I don't use the calculator, but would be willing to share my quoting system with you.  Pm me if need be.   Feel free to send me the design and I can tell you what I would charge.

Let me know.

I know this is an old thread. Is anyone using this? Is Vern still around? I have a simple (I think) question on using it if anyone would like to help. Questing is about Sq. Ft. cost of material in customization and material added in material calculator.

I am not sure how to use all these and the letter calculator in conjunction or separate to get my pricing correct.

I am sure a 5 min phone call would clear all my questions if anyone would like to help.

Cutter Support / US Cutter MH871 Mk2 and Vinylmaster 4.0 Question
« Last post by Rmiller66 on February 17, 2018, 11:11:56 AM »
Greetings,
I have a very simple POLICE text graphic to cut out from reflective vinyl for a new to us patrol car. I have a 30 yard spool of 3m Reflective material that's 3.5" wide. i can cut everything fine, but the cutter/software always feeds the entire length of the decal out then begins to cut, rewinding the material back through as it cuts.

Can I get the cutter to do the opposite? That is to say, begin the cut at the origin point rather then feeding the entire length THEN cutting?

It would save me a lot of trouble if possible!

Thank you,

Rick

These are great ideas. Iíve been looking for an easy way to also track orders! Iíve tried the PayPal invoice for business and they charge you to send an invoice! Thanks for the ideas!!

They are just another cheap version cutter,if its not a servo cutter then it will be hit and miss with quality of cuts....I use a uscutter  titan 2 28" and its extremely accurate and quiet.

heads up the titan is made by SAGA :)  Difference is USCutter provides support on the titan series and can supply parts down the road

Sorry I'm late to the game.   If you still want it printed let me know.

I can do print and cut.

Best regards.   But Pippin will take care of you if he's taken care of it.

They have been having issues with the internet here. If you wanna send him a message to help out that would be great, I never got a Vector file to be able to look at it properly. Thanks bud
