don't think they ship to canada though. Seems that the WF1100 is not available in Canada at all. Not sure what's up with that..

I'm curious.

What type of stuff you guys are printing with these these ink systems and the WF1100?  What kind of paper do you use for stickers?

Also, from what I gather you use UV pigment inks for transfers (sublimation?) and the dye inks for stickers/photos?

I print vinyl decals, posters & mini banners using a CISS loaded with pigment inks from http://hotzone360.com/index.html.
I also sell an aqueous ink printable vinyl by the roll that I cut to size and then either create an outline in Adobe to countour cut (shaped decals) or hand cut (square decals) after I laminate them with lamination film or a urethane spray paint for plastic.

??? Some people like the Cobra Ink resource because the sales guy offers lots of one on one support and states that Cobra Ink invented the CISS, but frankly the only reason I don't see the value in that is because I've never needed any help/support or had a complaint with the Hotzone360 product to require me to call anyone for anything other than to order more ink. No color adjustments, no clogs, no leaks, no complaints... the price from Hotzone360 is much better too.

Great post.  I asked the guys at B and H and they said this cannot print out on media other than paper material...maybe they are wrong?

I want to start doing bumper stickers with this and also some other small stickers.  Do you think this would work well?

Any idea on cost to print?  Is it economical?

What is the process for making a bumper sticker?

Is it:

1)  Design

2)  Print

3) Contour cut

4) Protective clear layering?

Thanks so much!
Jeff

I got the same response when I purchased the first two units (that I sold) about the ability to print on items other than paper by the salesguy at Micro Center.  ??? He didn't realize that there was more than paper available to print on.
