Graphtec cutting strip replacement
« on: July 08, 2010, 04:04:31 PM »
hi there
just received my new cutting strip from Graphtec to replace the one on my CE3000-60.
I know Dakota replaced his and the glue is a b**ch to remove, so I'm asking for tips on how to do it.
Acetone will remove the adhesive I think but can mess up the plastic, so I'm not sure about that.

I'm gonna do it tomorrow probably so please comment if you have any tips.

Thanks

Will try later tonight. I was able to get some of it of "dry", just rolling the adhesive over itself.

replaced it yesterday, no problems at all. Removed it dry rolling it over itself, and the excess was gone after a couple of wipes with WD40

Thanks
