The reason I am asking with my daytime job Its hard to get wotk done for customers. I work alot of shutdowns so many days its nine at night before I get home. Its kind of hard to do installs at night. I was just thinking of going to the ebay side of things that way if i come home at ten at night I can fill and pack my orders and put it in the mailbox.

top be honest if you sell just a few things you should be ok but if you plan on selling alot you will not have time for it. the emails alone can be a full time job.

your ad has " any color"

a question you will get is " can i get that in black?'

you have "send me your shipping addres"

you will get asked "how do i send you my shipping address?"

there is a lot of stupid people out there and it takes time to reply to all the little questions

Go for it - put on a few and see what happens - if your very new you have to get your feedback up there so sell them cheap just to get people to buy them and ship out right away and treat them good so you can get good reviews

Over time raise your price up

I am making the leap into EBAY as well. How do you guys handle listings where you have a lot of something, or you could cut a huge amount? For instance, decal X is something you would make to order, but you don't want one EBAY ad. Would you just list a few identical ads and just make each one to order?

Know what I mean? Selling a service rather than a product in a wrapper. So, if someone buys my auction to make them some decals, I do I make it so the ad stays up, or do I need separate ads for each decal, even though it doesn't exist till I cut/make it?

each separate listing will cost you 20 cents minimum. You can list as many as you want in one auction for 20 cents. You do the math.
