Which carrier sheet would you recommend?  I need to cut out a few stencils of numbers and letters for spray painting.

Carrier sheets are expensive. Manilla folders + spray adhesive work just as well :).

That's a pretty good tip! Never thought of it, though I've not needed carrier sheets. Just assumed when/if I needed them I would go to walmart and grab the cricut ones, but this definitely sounds more feasible.

I tried it once for the wife's craft stuff, never went back. Just make sure to use low tack spray adhesive or to spray the high tack stuff and give it 10 minutes or so to dry...after that you are good to go.

One folder will last 30-50 cut...and they are dirt cheap.

I have a couple of the large Cricut brand sheets, $4 for two with a coupon at JoAnn's.
