can a embroidery file be converted to a ai or eps file???

With my embroidery software I have the capablility of saving it as a jpg or pulling in throught CorelDraw then you can convert.

As a direct conversion, short answer is NO.

Wilcom allows you to convert the embroidery file, native EMB, to a vector.
However, the vector half of the program is CorelDraw.
So once it is converted to vector you can the export as an ai or eps
I don't do this very often as I am usually going the other way, as in, bringing art into the software to produce a stitch file.

Having said all the above, if it is a dst pes sew etc then you would be better off redrawing it.
